Prepare for your Power Washing Service

We warmly encourage you to familiarize yourself with each aspect related to the service you have scheduled with us. Your upcoming service is something we look forward to with great enthusiasm, and we're excited about the opportunity to serve you! It is important that all windows and doors are shut so that we may perform our services. We will be spraying high volumes of water around your house and property and must ask that you remain inside while work is being performed. Please use caution when entering and leaving your house, as it is your responsibility to keep all children and pets away from the work area while we are performing work on your property. This is for your safety as well as our own. After our work is completed, you must keep children and pets off the work surface until areas have thoroughly dried out.

Your Presence During the Service:

It's not necessary for you to be home during the service. While we would relish the chance to personally meet and converse with you, rest assured, our team is fully equipped to carry out all exterior cleaning tasks in your absence. Should your plans mean you're away from home when we visit, kindly ensure we have complete access to all areas of your property requiring attention, to enable us to deliver a thorough and efficient cleaning service.

Preparing for Your Washing Service:

Please be aware that we cannot assume liability for any pre-existing damage to parts of your home, including but not limited to siding, fascia, roofing, windows, screens, concrete, pavers, stonework, brick, tile, decks, fencing, gutters, or roofing materials. Also, note that our standard pressure washing service does not cover the removal of rust, oil, grease, glue, paint, caulk, concrete, or any other non-organic substances from your surfaces.

  • Confirm that all doors and windows are securely closed to prevent any water entry.
  • Ensure we have access to all areas of your property that needs cleaning.
  • Provide access to all available functioning water spigots for our use.
  • Make sure all pets and children are safely indoors during the service.

Removal & Replacement of Deck/Patio Contents:

Fragile items and external house decorations are susceptible to water damage and must be removed to prevent any harm. Additionally, should it become necessary to clear the deck for any reason, our company disclaims all responsibility for potential damage, breakage, or storage complications that may arise. As the homeowner, it is incumbent upon you to relocate grills, deck furniture, planters, and other personal belongings as needed. Furthermore, we request that you maintain a clean and orderly environment for trash, cardboard, and recyclables to mitigate the risk of untidiness.

Plant and property Protection:

To further protect your property and its surroundings, we implement several key measures throughout our cleaning process. Covering and taping worn electrical components prevent water ingress and potential electrical hazards, preserving the safety of your property. For delicate surfaces, we employ lower pressures to avoid damage, ensuring that even the most sensitive areas are cleaned gently yet effectively. Our commitment to environmental and property safety extends to our choice of cleaning agents; we work with biodegradable cleaning solutions followed by the application of a neutralizing solution. This approach not only ensures a thorough clean but also maintains the balance and health of your garden and landscaping, leaving your property pristine and harm-free.

Our plant and property protection measures are integral to our mission of providing exceptional cleaning services. By combining a meticulous multi-stage cleaning process with eco-friendly solutions and specialized protection techniques, we deliver outstanding results that respect and preserve the beauty and integrity of your property.

Preexisting Issues:

Identifying and Documenting Preexisting Wear and Tear:

At Simple Clean LLC Power Washing Services, our dedication to delivering exemplary service is unwavering. Nonetheless, it is important for our clients to understand that our liability does not extend to pre-existing conditions or damages that may arise from structural inadequacies. Maintaining a property involves a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to addressing potential issues that can affect its integrity, appearance, and safety. Below, we outline several critical factors that homeowners and property managers should be aware of, especially when considering maintenance tasks such as washing and cleaning. These issues, while not exhaustive, highlight common areas of concern that can significantly impact the effectiveness of cleaning processes and the overall well-being of the property.

  1. Improperly Installed Siding: Faulty siding installation can lead to moisture intrusion, mold growth, and structural damage, undermining the property's integrity and aesthetic appeal.

  2. Loose Shingles and Flashing: Shingles and Flashing that are not securely attached can allow water to seep underneath, causing leaks and water damage to the interior structures.

  3. Compromised Windows and Doors: Ineffective sealing around windows and doors can result in energy loss, water leaks, and potential damage to surrounding materials.

  4. Wood Decay: Rotting wood is a critical concern, as it compromises the structural stability of the property and can lead to costly repairs if not addressed promptly.

  5. Substandard Construction: Poor construction practices can result in a myriad of issues, ranging from minor annoyances to major safety hazards, affecting the longevity of the property.

  6. Insecurely Fastened Electrical Wiring: Improperly secured/Installed wiring poses significant risks, including electrical fires and malfunctioning appliances and systems.

  7. Malfunctioning/Clogged Gutters and Downspouts: Gutters and downspouts that are not correctly mounted or are failing can lead to water buildup around the foundation, causing erosion and potential basement flooding. Gutters should be free from build-up to prevent clogging.

  8. Deficient Caulking: Inadequate caulking around fixtures, windows, and doors can allow moisture to penetrate, leading to mold growth and structural damage.

  9. Impact of Extensive Weathering and UV Exposure/Oxidation: Properties exposed to harsh weather conditions over time may experience accelerated wear and tear, affecting the drying process post-washing and the overall resilience of the property.

  10. Materials Specific Concerns: Our disclaimer extends to all materials we work with, including vinyl, aluminum, painted wood, Hardie board, and fiber cement siding, each of which may have unique vulnerabilities to be considered during maintenance.

Our commitment to professionalism and excellence remains steadfast, and we aim to communicate these limitations transparently to ensure our clients have a full understanding of the scope of our services. Please note that the impact of extensive weathering on properties can influence the drying process post-washing, a phenomenon that regrettably falls outside our sphere of influence. Being aware of these potential issues can help property owners and managers make informed decisions about maintenance and repairs, ultimately preserving the value and appearance of their properties.

PaYMENT INFORMATION:

Payment for Residential Services:

Should you be at home during the cleaning, payment is kindly requested upon the completion of our service. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards for your convenience. If you are not present, an invoice will be sent to your email address, complete with a link to a secure payment portal where you can complete the payment via credit card. We kindly ask for the payment to be made within three business days from the date of the invoice.

Payment for Homes or Properties being Prepared and Listed for Sale:

For properties being prepared for sale, it is our policy at Simple Clean LLC Power Washing Services to require full payment for services in advance of scheduling. This measure ensures prompt attention to these properties, which often necessitate swift action due to the rapid pace of real estate market transactions. It is imperative that property owners directly submit the contact form and manage the financial transaction themselves. In instances where real estate agents wish to undertake financial responsibility for the services, they must do so in their capacity, and an invoice will be issued to them before any scheduling is confirmed.

Payment for Commercial Services:

For our commercial cleaning offerings, the standard payment structure is due upon the completion of services, barring any alternate arrangements previously agreed upon. We recognize that certain commercial engagements may operate within Net 30, Net 60, or Net 90 payment terms, whereby estimates for our services will be provided accordingly, after 30, 60, or 90 days post-inquiry.

Should you be a property manager actively comparing quotes with the aim of securing the lowest bid among multiple contractors, we respectfully suggest that our services may not align with your requirements. Our focus is on delivering quality and value, rather than competing on price alone.

Upon the conclusion of services, you will be issued an invoice electronically, which will encompass a link to a secure payment portal. This ensures a seamless and secure transaction process for all our commercial clients.

  3. Zero Tolerance for Aggressive Behavior: Any verbal or physical actions that cause discomfort, embarrassment, or threat to our staff will not be tolerated. This includes aggression or threats made in person, over the phone, or through written communications.

By adhering to this code of conduct, we can ensure a safe and respectful environment for both our clients and our dedicated team members. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain the high standards of professionalism and respect that are the foundation of Simple Clean LLC Power Washing Services.

Contractor Policy:

Policy for General Contractors: Engagement and Sub-Contracting Standards

Simple Clean LLC Power Washing Services has observed a concerning pattern in the industry, where entities labeled as "General Contractors" and those engaging in "Sub-Contracting" have sought to exploit our services for their own advantage. Annually, we encounter claims from individuals purporting to represent a business, yet in reality, they are leveraging platforms like HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, and Angie's Leads Service to gather leads, with the intent of inflating our service costs and subcontracting the work back to us.

Such actions, revolving around the resale of "Slightly Used Leads," not only breach ethical and professional standards but also significantly undermine the value provided to consumers. Our stance is clear: we do not endorse or collaborate with companies or individuals who engage in this predatory and distasteful practice. It misrepresents the true essence of professional business conduct and disrespects the integrity of property management. Simple Clean LLC is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

This policy outlines our expectations and requirements for General Contractors considering sub-contracting our services. Our goal is to ensure that our partnership benefits all parties involved, especially the end clients who trust us with their needs.

  1. Fair Pricing Practices: We strictly discourage practices where General Contractors sub-contract our services with the sole intention of significantly marking up our prices for personal gain. Our services should be an integral component of your project, offering genuine value to your clients.

  1. Brand Representation: Under no circumstances will we compromise our branded identity. We will not remove our uniforms, logos, or branding while working on another contractor's job site. Our brand is a mark of quality and trust, and we insist on maintaining our visibility as part of our commitment to excellence.

  2. Pre-Service Requirements: As a General Contractor, you are responsible for preparing the site before our team arrives. This includes:
  3. Ensuring all personal belongings are moved away from the work areas.
  4. Confirming all windows and doors are securely closed.
  5. Verifying that water access is available and functional.
  6. Moving any and all vehicles away from the service areas.
  7. Informing the homeowner or property owner of our scheduled arrival and the scope of work to be performed.

  8. Non-Compliance and Rescheduling Fees: If the conditions listed above are not met upon our team's arrival, we reserve the right to impose a non-refundable rescheduling fee of $300.00 USD, payable before a new service date is arranged. This fee is in addition to the initial service estimate/invoice.

  9. Right to Reject Service: Failure to comply with these requirements may result in our decision to reject the service request outright. It is crucial for all involved parties to adhere to these guidelines to ensure a smooth, efficient, and mutually beneficial working relationship.

In light of the circumstances and guidelines outlined above, in conjunction with our Customer Code of Conduct and Zero Tolerance Policy, any breach of these terms of service may lead to the immediate termination of the contract. The decision to issue a refund will be contingent upon the extent of work already completed. We retain the discretion to engage directly with the homeowner and property owner, utilizing the details provided by them, should they choose to proceed with our services and wish to collaborate directly with us.

Payment from General Contractors and Sub-Contracting:

For general contractors and subcontractors interested in integrating our services as a component of their offering at a specified address, it is our policy to require payment in full prior to the scheduling of any services. Furthermore, contractors acting on behalf of a homeowner's interest in procuring exterior cleaning services are obliged to ensure that the homeowner directly contacts Simple Clean LLC Power Washing Services for setting expectations, questions and concerns. This direct communication ensures clarity and efficiency in service provision, aligning with our commitment to maintaining transparent and professional business practices.

This policy is designed to protect the interests of our clients, uphold the integrity of our services, and ensure that our partnerships with General Contractors are based on respect, professionalism, and shared values. We appreciate your understanding and compliance with these standards.

No Satisfaction Guarantees:

In the realm of exterior cleaning services, the allure of a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" often serves as a compelling marketing strategy, designed to attract consumers with the promise of a risk-free engagement. However, the notion of absolute satisfaction is inherently subjective, varying significantly across clients due to diverse expectations and perceptions of what constitutes thorough satisfaction.

This subjective guarantee becomes particularly complex when addressing the unique challenges presented by older properties, which, due to neglect or inadequate maintenance, may suffer from compounded surface damage. The average property serviced by our company can be 20+ years old, with a notable portion having never undergone professional cleaning. Over time, exposure to UV radiation, environmental elements, and general wear and tear can lead to irreversible surface etching, fading, staining, and oxidation. Such pre-existing conditions often remain, even after the most diligent cleaning efforts.

Moreover, the removal of heavy organic growth from a building's exterior can expose previously hidden damage, potentially falling short of a client's expectations for what defines a "100% satisfaction" outcome. This reality underscores the importance of managing expectations and recognizing the limitations imposed by the property's condition.

It is crucial for consumers to understand these nuances within the exterior cleaning industry. Reliance on a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" should not be the sole criterion for selecting a service provider. Instead, prioritizing a cleaning service known for its professionalism, quality of work, and a commitment to addressing customer concerns effectively is advisable. Such an approach ensures a more realistic and satisfactory engagement, particularly when dealing with the complexities of maintaining or restoring older, less-maintained properties.
